Millbrook Combined is a successful primary school with a strong reputation in both the local community and wider educational environment. The school is expanding to three forms of entry and this process will be completed in September 2021. The building development programme to facilitate this is due to end this August.
As a class teacher at Millbrook you will be responsible for leading the teaching and learning of pupils in your class working alongside parallel class teachers in either upper or lower KS2. Each phase of the school is led by an Assistant Headteacher who will be able to provide support and professional coaching to enable you to enhance your practice and plan for career progression. Class teachers also have responsibility for co-ordinating a curriculum subject which allows you the opportunity to grow and develop as a middle leader should you be looking for that next step in your professional development.
