Millbrook Activity Club Manager

Full time; 30 hours per week; 52 weeks p.a.
The hours are flexible but must cover:

  • Breakfast Club (7.45 am to 9.15am)
  • After School Club (3:00 pm to 6:15 pm)
  • Holiday Club (shift pattern)

Start date: 1st September 2018
Salary: Bucks Pay Schools (Range 2) £18,703 – £21,008 p.a.

Millbrook Combined is a successful primary school with a strong reputation in both the local community and wider educational environment.  The school is expanding to three forms of entry and this process will be completed in September 2021.  The building development programme to facilitate this is due to end this August.

This role has become available as a result of the launch of the school’s new 30 hours nursery provision alongside the expansion of the two year old setting in September.  The MAC manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the wrap around care, providing out of school care and activities for children aged 3 to 11 years in a safe and stimulating environment.  For further information please refer to the job description.

Breakfast Club and After School club are often oversubscribed meeting the needs of the families that attend the school.  Holiday Club is also often oversubscribed providing child care for pupils who attend Millbrook but also some who attend other schools.  We are looking for an experienced childcare/play work practitioner who has experience of leading in a setting or is ready to take that next step in their career.  They will be ideally placed to maintain and build on the current success MAC is experiencing.  Please refer to the person specification.
